Glamping – Could this be just what your family needs?

We have been supplying holiday companies with Snuggle Sacs (for their kids clubs) for over 15 years, and we know how popular Snuggle Sacs are for caravan and motor home holidays. However, glamping is something new, exciting and appealing to all those people who wouldn’t normally set foot in a tent or caravan.

We started supplying a glamping destination called Loose Reins in Dorset last year. We recently asked them to tell us a little bit about their riding holidays and why glamping works. As you can see from the photos, they provide a fantastic opportunity to relax and enjoy life.

Simple Pleasures:

Loose Reins is a Dorset glamping venue where simple things become simple pleasures. It’s where life slows down and the daily grind is left at the gate. It’s where you hear morning larks and nighttime owls and badgers. Tucked up by the wood burner after a day spent Western riding or out on the lodge deck, cocoa in hand, it’s a place of tranquility, shared memories and re connection.

Relax – you’re in Loose Reins country.

That means gorgeous Dorset countryside surrounded by woodland just asking to be explored. They are based at the foot of the Wessex Ridgeway – the views are out of this world. It’s paradise for walking, riding, biking and a country adventure. And when you’re finished, kick back in the rocking chair, dine al fresco and toast the sunset. Luxury is at the heart of Loose Reins living.

Glamping at Loose Reins

There are three Pioneer Lodges at Loose Reins, homely, comfortable and as spacious as the prairie with a large, beautifully furnished living areas and plenty of room for up to six people. The living space is warm at night and on glorious sunny days you can throw open the front awning to make it part of the deck.

Glamping in the Dorset Countryside

There are also three artisan-crafted Pioneer Cabins for up to four people. Can you picture yourself sipping wine on this deck?

All the accommodation has hot water, showers, flushing loos and fluffy towels. When evening comes, even bedtime is a treat. As well as Egyptian cotton sheets and Hypnos mattresses for the grown ups, we have Snuggle sacs for the kids. 100% cotton lined, they’re cosy, fun and comfortable, with horse decorations inside (Loose Reins is the home of Western riding round these parts). After a day’s adventure in wonderful countryside you’d think things couldn’t get better. Then you hit the hay…

Didn’t we say the simple things become simple pleasures?
